"See, young ones? We were in time," Mace said to the eager group with him.

William laughed, and the others relaxed as well. They clearly had arrived in time.

"Well? Go mingle! I'm going to go find the leader from Sun Cove." With that admonition, Mace moved off in search of the Seaquine in question, the harness and various attachments clanking a little as he moved.

The rest paused, looking around at the gathering.

"I'm going to go and meet some new youths, anyone want to join me?" William asked the others. Casper and Radon quickly chimed in, but paused before moving off, to see what the others would do.


Cassy smiled, and responded in her melodic voice. "I think I'm going to go see if my twin has come to the gathering, it's been a while since we were last together."

"I'll come with you," Patience replied, not wanting to let her blind friend wander alone. "And you two!" She continued, turning to the dwarf Lionfish twins. "Will come with us. Who knows what will be out there! We might need protection."

Volcano and Glacier looked at each other, then smiled. Yes, Cassy did have a penchant for finding trouble. This would be fun!


"And you two?" William asked Faith and Miranda.

"I think..." Faith said, then paused, glancing at her twin. "I think we'll explore on our own."


And with that, the younglings split up into smaller groups, and moved off.
