Youthful Outing-Youth RP

I'll be adding some simple RP rules here that will make this easier

Neon always looked forward to breeding season. The lovely babys were all just so adorable and sweet. 6 excited youth were not so bearable. So before she and several others went off the deep end Nova preposed an outing to one of the local reefs. Neon would lead the group as she was the most experianced with young. Nova also took the time to send out flyers to other coves asking if they would like to pericipate too.

Sun Cove is having a youth event. We will be visiting one of the many local reefs in the area. We inivit all youth owners to come along. If you wish you may bring one adult along too. We will be meeting at the main market square around mid-morning. You do not have to bring food as we will be providing lunch and snacks.

Aidena was so excited! Not only were there going to a reef, but other youth were coming too! She could hardly contain herself.


Trydium was better than Aidena at controlling her excitment, but only just. She had praticed blending into the background around her cove, but a reef would be quite the challenge.


Unlike his sister podmates, Kordum was rather nervious. Just how many other coves had been invited? He would try to stay by Neon if he could.


The flame colored twins looked forward to the outing. There had been more twins born then ever before so they would likely be able to meet a few.


Kei was curious about the idea of an outing with a bunch of youth. How was Neon going to handle all of this? He could hear the market before he saw it. Now they would just have to wait until more groups showed up.


Neon was optimistic about this adventure. She had to be or how else would it work? They had finally arrived at the market. Luckily she had already packed lunch and snacks so she would not have to worry about buying food.

Damion looked around at all the new youth. It was a great turn out this season. All the youth were meeting each other and settling into there separate pods. The childless adults were getting a bit overwhelmed with all the new little ones swimming around, when she got the invite from the Sun Cove. She thought this would be a perfect thing for some of the youth to do. Damion made an announcement to all the Coves in her Pod.



Silver Bullet came along with her mom. Even this early she was a compleat momma's girl.


Taffy decided to go also, she was very interested to meet some of the other youth not in her own Pod. Plus there might be a few cute males around.


JS came to see if his brother might be there. They had not been apart long but he missed him.


Milton was not happy to be here, his mom had made him come, saying something about him needing to be more social.

Venn skulked around the edges of the gathering group. He really didn't even know why he was here. He thought it was stupid. What was the big deal about a reef. Not that he had ever seen one himself, but seriously. It was just stacks of coral and stuff. What could be exciting about that?

Racer Star Came to the cove when his parent trade him for Sun Spot. They look at him said this be good way for you to find a future mate and give him chance not be in his brother shadow. He like being with Sunny Days and Storm Cloud Brewing but he miss in mom and brother.
Iris-Sekhmet Even Dusk look at her, " You make sure Galaxy feel welcome, you took her place and if I did not have to much on my plate you would have been her sister." Iris-Sekhmet was looking for this trip and thinking on how to relax Galaxy. She was glad her parents keep her.
Galaxy She was very nervous since she was just adopted and in new cove. She meet Even Dusk at the Orphanage and thought she was going home with him, until Night Sky came and got her. He told her Even Dusk receive some information and could not get her, but it was his idea for him to adopt her and that they live in same cove. He look at her and said this trip will help her get use to her new home and cove mate.
Violet Rose Her parents sent her to her new cove. "They do not have any other breed, but Dwarfs and Finned so behave yourself. Your are special and they have adults that can lead you to great path. Join the outing and make good impression" She was ready to go places.
Forest Nymph Forest Nymph saw Suijin and look at her parents, "He going be my mate." She did not know why but there was a bond there. She will go anywhere Suijin goes.
Suijin Suijin look at Forest Nymph, he knew there was something there but did not know what. "Forest Nymph there is an outing today, do you want to go with me on it?" He did not have to wait for an answer she swim right to his side. He was glad she was joining him. She was the only other youth in his cove and he could not wait to meet his parents' friend's youth.

Yron Pyrite was swimming casually along with his little trio, when he caught wind of the gathering event. A wicked gleam lit his crimson orbs, and he turned with a jack-o-lantern grin to his sons, "How would you like to go on an outing with all your cousins, boys? A great bonding experience..." Laughter pulled his lips from his teeth in a horsey grin, and the three glanced between eachother before shrugging.

Rath canted his head to one side, eyeing his father, "Does that mean you'll show us some new tricks?"

Ruin piped up quickly, "Yeah, yeah, like that color changing thing! That'd be great. Then one of us could pretend to be Riss and -really- confuse people!"

Riss snorted at that, and decided to tease the twins, "Who says you get to be Mimics, hm? Your mom wasn't one like mine." Puffing out his chest with childish pride, Riss darts out from between the identical tricksters to take refuge on the other side of his father.

Pyrite would have giggled if it wasn't such an unmanly thing to do, "Let's go see if your aunties and uncles will let us take the youngsters off their fins, then!"

After quite the argument, and lots of pleading from the Pretender's trio, Pyrite came away looking smug, with nine - count them, nine! - other kids in tow. He was keeping their attention by changing his tail pattern rather hypnotically while in the less populated waters.

His kids, of course, led the pack of youths like parade marchers, supposedly promising to keep them in line, and he trusted them to a point, but... He knew they were planning something. He was so proud!

Ghost Ship, or GC, wasn't really fooled by the nifty tail trick, but he was bored easily, and decided to tag along anyways. The black and green spotted ghost youth was of the curious sort, always asking questions about anything and everything.

Samhain, or Sam for short, was fascinated by Pyrite's changing colors. Being one of the few youths not directly related to any member of the pod, he took an immediate shineto the independent Rogue. More so for his aesthetically pleasing appearance than any true desire to join the Lawless. Yet, anyways.

Firenze wondered if he could set the coral on fire... He was a pyromaniac through and through, despite the impossibility of true flames underwater. He didn't really care about socializing, but maybe he could chum it up with the other youths that reminded him of flame colors?

Palindrome, or Pali for short, was teasing Creamsicle mercilessly [because he had a little crush on her] by getting just close enough to brush her with his spines, then bumping into her, claiming that Vige bumped him. Cream would always shriek and move closer to Pyrite, assuming that the adult would offer her some form or protection.

Creamsicle really hoped Pali would stop soon, getting bumped into hurt!

Phasmatis Vigeo, or Vige [Vii-Gee] as everyone called him, was taking great delight in Pali's game. His half-brother was a kelpie, just like him, but had such nifty fins..! Brothers have to stick together, after all.

Silver Bullet rolled his eyes at the crazy antic of his pod m-... Oh, who is he kidding? With a swish of his tail, he practically tackles Pali in an effort to join in their reindeer games.

Tainted Desires, or Taint, was sticking close to Jasmine, being the third youth with no relation to any of his other pod mates, he clung to the girl almost fearfully. Jasmine was his great protector, being unafraid to tattle or rough house to get her way. Not to mention she was a total Daddy's Girl, and Pastel Angel had taken him under his wing, so to speak, when he hatched.

Jasmine was the only one who was truly excited to meet the other children with no ulterior motive. She could introduce Taint around and get him out of his shell a little! Pali and Vige had a bad habit of picking on him, and Sam didn't help any. He was always muttering about conspiracies. Cream was oblivious to all the too-serious-talk, so it was up to Jas to protect her best friend from getting picked on.

Pyrite laughed, he loved the chaos, especially since he could fob most of them off on the other parents and what not once they arrived. Ahh... life was good.

(OOC: I've got so many, I'm only bringing those in my main cove, and I'll probably split them into small groups to make it easier to track them.)




Clang, clang, clang, the hammer on the metal, angle it just so, and thus.... Hmmm, perhaps shift a bit more... Mace thought, carefully repositioning the bit of armor he was repairing. Belisarius had done quite a number on it. He shifted the shoulder guard a bit, and....

"Mace!"

Startled out of his reverie by the chorus of calls, the hammer made an ugly sound as it hit the metal wrong. Putting the hammer down, Mace moved to his shop door to see what the excitement was about. William, the little scamp, was in the lead (as usual), followed by the twins Glacier and Volcano. Faith, Miranda, Radon, and Casper followed. William was waving a bit of parchment excitedly as he led the charge. Mace sighed. The only adults home at that moment were the skittish Felix and the (very) scary Rogue (who also happened to be in a rather foul mood at the moment), which explained why the younglings were bringing whatever it was to him.

"Lookit, Mace! The Sun Cove is having an outing to one of the Reefs, and everyone is invited! Can we go? Please please please?" William exclaimed, clearly overly excited. The others chorused in with more pleases. Looking at those excited and hopeful young faces, Mace couldn't say no.

"All right, we'll go. One of you go get Patience and Cassy, and get ready to go yourselves. I'll be along in a few minutes, let me grab a few things."

"YAY!" the cry went up, and the pack turned and charged back toward the dwellings. Turning back into his shop, Mace put up his tools, grabbed a harness and short spear (one never knew when a nasty would come along) then headed for Nicholas' rooms. The cove leader kept a stash of all sorts of items that would be very handy on this little trip.

William could barely contain the squeal as he raced off to find Patience and Cassy. Cassy was probably with Felix, and Patience was likely with them. Cassy loved history, but her blindness was a distinct problem when reading scrolls. Felix was always willing to read from his beloved history scrolls, and that's probably what they were doing.



Radon followed in William's wake, absolutely thrilled. This would be so much fun! He wondered if his twin would be there.


Casper was also happy, and hoped to meet other regular finned youths. He loved the dwarfs, he truly did, but... It could be hard, being the only finned youth in the cove at the moment.


Faith and Miranda smiled at each other, and nodded. So very different on the outside, but so very similar on the inside, they both looked forward to the outing. And were hoping to meet up with other twins.


Glacier and Volcano followed in the wake of the twin girls, and exchanged a conspiritory wink. They'd think up something mischievous to do.



Cassy sighed, as Felix's voice rolled over her. The scroll was an old one, and the tale it told was one of hope. Some were dark indeed.

"Oh dear," Patience said, interrupting Felix. "Here comes William."

Cassy felt the currents shift, as Felix spun. He really was a nervy one. "Oh my! And he looks like something's up."

Cassy smiled to herself. With William, it seemed something was always up.

"Hey girls! Guess what? Sun Cove is having an outing to a reef, and everyone is invited! Mace has agreed to go along, too. C'mon!"

Cassy felt the currents, as Patience shifted. Patience was rather shy, and Cassy took shameless advantage of her own "handicap" to force her friend to be more outgoing. After all, if one who was blind could do it, then anyone could! So, Cassy agreed to go for the both of them. "We come, William," Cassy called. Then, inclining her head in the direction she knew Felix to be, she continued to him. "Thank you, as always, for reading. But we've kept you from your studies long enough, and if we don't go on this outing, the others will all come to find out why we haven't and they will disorder the study again."

Felix snorted, and made a shooing gesture. "Go along with you two, and have fun!

Pretty in Pink show up, "Sorry Gang, I had to go to the store get supply. Son bring the group together." Hey Yron Pyrite I see you mange get bunch." Maybe with your skill you can help me keep eye on my group as well"Maybe this will keep him out of trouble if the rummor are true about him being a thief

Pyrite looked askance at the pink and rainbow male, "I'm sorry, I don't believe we've met...You are?"
His stance wasn't hostile, not really, but it wasn't very inviting, either. Now, if he'd been female...

Rath and Ruin shared a look, having drifted into the throng of other Youth in their group as soon as the pink guy appeared, before splitting up and swimming close to the sand to blend in. First one to be seen loses!
Riss snorted at his brothers antics, and went along the middle of their split to offer cover for the other to duck behind. He was already used to their games, and it helped that they were all the same size so one could hide in his silhouette.

Creamsicle shrieked as Pali poked her, again, and fled to find someone new to play with, on the verge of tears.
Pali followed, of course, dragging Vige along for the ride.

The others glanced around curiously, and drifted over to look at some pretty colors in the coral as a group. Since the biggest trouble makers were busy, they could just drift until something caught their attention.

Venn's attention was caught as the group with Pyrite swam into the gathering. He watched with interest as Rath, Ruin, and Riss began their hide and fade antics with a measure of envy. This was a group he was familiar with having come from that pod. Now he wasn't sure enough of himself to join in the games. He was part of a new group. Would he be welcome in the old? He soooo wanted to join the mischievous trio, but held back in indecision.

"See, young ones? We were in time," Mace said to the eager group with him.

William laughed, and the others relaxed as well. They clearly had arrived in time.

"Well? Go mingle! I'm going to go find the leader from Sun Cove." With that admonition, Mace moved off in search of the Seaquine in question, the harness and various attachments clanking a little as he moved.

The rest paused, looking around at the gathering.

"I'm going to go and meet some new youths, anyone want to join me?" William asked the others. Casper and Radon quickly chimed in, but paused before moving off, to see what the others would do.


Cassy smiled, and responded in her melodic voice. "I think I'm going to go see if my twin has come to the gathering, it's been a while since we were last together."

"I'll come with you," Patience replied, not wanting to let her blind friend wander alone. "And you two!" She continued, turning to the dwarf Lionfish twins. "Will come with us. Who knows what will be out there! We might need protection."

Volcano and Glacier looked at each other, then smiled. Yes, Cassy did have a penchant for finding trouble. This would be fun!


"And you two?" William asked Faith and Miranda.

"I think..." Faith said, then paused, glancing at her twin. "I think we'll explore on our own."


And with that, the younglings split up into smaller groups, and moved off.
