| Breeding | Charts | Nursery | Growth Why is there a breeding season? Seaquine eggs will not hatch unless they reach and maintain a certain temperature. This only occurs once a year and in only two locations. This means that seaquine's have limited time and space for the hatching of their offspring.
When is breeding season? There are two breeding seasons per year, Central Moon breeding season takes place in July. Southern Moon breeding season takes place in January. Southern Moon breeding is limited and costs extra to cover the seaquine's travel expenses.
Is out- of-season breeding possible? Yes. If you acquire a fire nest you may breed at any time.
What are the Basic Rules? 1) You must own a Seaquine to participate. 2) You must have a nest for every egg. 3) No inbreeding. Dwarves cannot breed within the same family. 4) Females may breed once per season, Male may breed three times. 5) Bonded couples may only be bred to their mate. 7) Only adults may breed.
How much does breeding cost? This depends on where the couple lives. If they need to travel to meet each other the cost rises. The default province in Pinnacle province. All primary coves are located in Pinnacle province as well. Bonded couples pay no breeding fee. Couples living in the same province pay 10k for record keeping. During breeding season slots are opened by each colorist participating that season. Number of slots and special additons vary depending on the colorist. Details are posted in the breeding thread.
