Ordinary Skills
Ordinary skills are skills that can be learned.  There are ten categories (level 1 skills) which divide into an almost unlimited variety of options.  You must advance through each level in order, no skipping straight to level 4.  Some of the more advanced choices require learning skills from more than one category.  A few also require being gifted with the proper master skill.  Skills are learned through special events, taking specturm classes, or attending the academy.
