The twins swam along, giggling to each other. This would be fun! The other youth clearly thought he'd surprise them. They were going to do a good deed, yes they were. They were going to teach a cocky youngster to be not so cocky!

"How should we plan this?" Faith asked Miranda.

Miranda smirked. "I was actually listening to Belisarius and Sun King talk about fighting and ambushes the other day. Belisarius said the only thing worst than a successful ambush is the ambush where the tables are turned, where the ambushee gives no sign that the ambusher is spotted until after the ambusher springs the ambush. They expect that moment of surprise, and when they don't get it...." Her eyes gleamed wickedly.

They continued closer, ignoring the "ambush".

Cassy heard the others distress, and made a crooning sound like the one she'd heard Flame make. Her beautiful, melodic voice was well suited to soothing sounds. "Don't worry, none of us will tease you. Will you, Volcano, Glacier? Cuz if you do, I'll get you."

Volcano looked worriedly at his twin. Mischief makers though they were, they did not want to take on the blind girl. If they fought physically, the adults would be angry, and Cassy always won battles fought with words. "Didn't cross my mind. Honest!"

Patience shook herself as she moved away, and smiled at the two new comers. "Hi! I'm Patience, and this is Cassy. The two boys are Volcano and Glacier. I don't think I need to explain who is whom." She gestured to each in turn. Turning to the finned girl she'd tackled, she gave her a pat. "Come now, dry the tears! We're all friends here. And you've not told us your name. How are we to call you?"

Cream stopped her sniffling after a minute, straightening up from her little huddle, "M-my name's Creamsicle, but everyone calls me Cream." With another, last, sniffle she smiles tentatively, "nice to meet you."
Sidling closer to the blind dwarf, because the lionfish twins listened to her, the finned girl sighs, rather relieved, and glances at the other two that had introduced themselves to the group.

"So...Whatcha wanna do?"
Simple as that, she temporarily forgot her frustration with her cove mate, and settled into the group atmosphere.

Rath should probably have been suspicious of all their giggling and whispering, but, that's how girls were. Icky and flighty, and easy to scare.
Ducking lower, he prepares a pounce...
And leaps out at them with a yell! Hoping to make them squeal and scatter so he can laugh at them.

Pali howled in outrage at Venn's comments, "I do NOT!"
Although she is very pretty...
Vige laughed as they went head over fin in their mad tussle, having learned to avoid his brother's elbow fins especially, since he wasn't the most adept at swinging his tail fin threateningly.
"Sanctuary! Mercy! TRUCE!"
Vige's words were a bit garbled by the sand he was being pinned face first into, that, and he was still laughing.
Glancing out of the corner of his eye at his twin meaningfully, Vige attempted to blink out some sort of morse code for Venn to get the irritable lionfish off of him so they could team up and beat him together.

The twins squealed in glee as the sand and red youth jumped out at them, and moving in unison, the girls tackled him. They may have been small, but there were two of them and they moved as one.

The Lionfish twins glanced at each other as the orange girl introduced herself, and perked up. "Well," Volcano replied, "Cassy here wanted to see if her twin was here. But I don't think anything is set in stone. And," he paused, "I think it'd be cool to go see what we can spot in the reef!"

Patience looked unhappy at that. "But... That would leave Cassy out!"

"Don't be silly, Patience. It would do no such thing! Quite the contrary! It'll let me practice seeking, and I need all the practice I can get." Smiling, Cassy had angled herself in the direction of Patience. She could feel the currents shift, and she thought Cream had moved closer to her. She hoped the other wouldn't get too close. Cassy was good with things that didn't move, but not very good with things that moved on their own.

Volcano turned to Cream, Forest Nymph and Suijin. "So, what do you guys think? Want to go see what's on the other side of that out cropping over there?"

Forest Nymph and Suijin "Sound good to use and nice to meet you Cream."

Pretty in Pink notice that Iris-Sekhmet and Violet Rose was alone. "Come on Galaxy let see if the girls want to got explore."

Racer Star got back up, "There some coral, you want to check it out."

Aidena nodded add followed him to the patch that interested him.

(Neon Speaking)"A first aid kit is very helpful, and I understand how to use it. Hopefully we will not need crowd control, but it is good to have just in case." Seeing that the lonely ghost was still next to her, she remebered that they had brought some toys along. Kordum, why don't you give these out that that other youth can play some games." Neon handed him a large bag in the hope that he would verture out more.

Kei saw Kordum being handed the game bag they carried along he decide to help give them out.

Venn watched his brother (Vige) eat sand for a bit while his mind wondered. Abruptly it registered just what position his brother was in. Giving himself a shake, he joined the dog pile, vaguely wondering what he thought he was doing tussling with a lionfish.

((epic fail on my part. I just don't know how rough-and-tumble boys think. I've never spent any significant time with any.))

Pretty in Pink "Iris-Sekhmet, Violet Rose, and Galaxy, they are handing toys out, why don't you all go get one."


Iris-Sekhmet, Violet Rose, and Galaxy look at each other and then swam to seaquines (Kei and Kordum) handing the toys out. "Hi, can we each get a toy to play with please." Iris-Sekhmet said. Violet Rose, "I am Violet Rose and they are Iris-Sekhmet and Galaxy. What your name?" Galaxy hid behind Violet Rose and made a small smile.


Racer Star look at Aidena, "You don't talk much, I guess that pretty cool, it like the coral. It don't make noise but it pretty to look at."

Rath yelped as he was tackled by the pair that were supposed to have squealed in terror and split up. Tumbling head over fin at the force, and because, really, he was just surprised. Really.
"Gerroff!"
Squirming around, he tries to jump up to dislodge the twins pinning him down.

Cream looks terribly excited to do something so mundane with other youths, "Oh, sure! That sounds great." She was squirming a bit, unable to keep still among the company of dwarves.
I think I saw Uncle Pyrite and the others in that direction, though... the finned girl wonders for a moment, then shrugs it off. Uncle Pyrite's not a bad guy, he just likes to let people think that, especially with Uncle Slyck recently joining them.
Cream feels a bit big compared to the six colorful dwarves, and it seems to be boosting her confidence a little as the only other girl youth in her cove.

Ruin's attention was caught by the bag, and he glanced between it and the shiny things dangling from the 'topi...
Swaying back and forth in indecision, he shrugs, and goes for the easier target as practice.

"Hey... Can I have a toy?" Ruin asks the pair with the bag.
He really wanted a toy sword... That would be awesome! Maybe he could get a second one and "spar" with his twin?

Riss hummed, pondering... before his eye caught the youths practically swarming the pair with a bag.
It looked like it was full of toys!

"How about we go see what they have in the bag?" Riss lightly bumps his shoulder into his half sister's in a friendly manner.
'Quines of a father should play together!
And maybe corrupt his sibling to the ways of mischief... Hee hee hee!

Vige yowls the best he can at the added weight, before he gets a chance to raise his head as his twin distracts Pali for a moment.
Taking complete and utter advantage of the situation, Vige squirms onto his back to propel himself forward at his spiny half brother.
"DOOG PIILE!"
Nearly headbutting Pali in the chest, Vige shoves him to the side more to help [v]Venn[/b] avoid his back spines.
"Watch his arm spines!" Vige called to Venn in advice as he shoves Pali into the sand in retaliation.

[I have no idea how boys play either. I'm just going with it.]

Taint glances from side to side, a strange expression on his face. He promptly squishes himself into Jazz's side, ducking low to avoid notice.
"What's the matter now?" Jasmine asked, glancing around herself...
Well, the other three [ghosts] are up ahead with Uncle Pyrite... Uncle Pyrite looks a bit peeved still... Maybe he heard something?

"So many others..."
Taint mumbled. It was rather odd. Maybe he just had exceptionally good hearing? Jasmine would notice him do that sometimes if the other youths formed a group before approaching them to drag them along.
Well, she'd deal with it when it came.

[ I think it'd be interesting if they at least saw Pyrite and the other five, so they could choose to go the other way or mingle or whatnot. XP
I'm toying with a few ideas with Taint, too. >>; ]
